      From sunset friday to sunset saturday. You don't have to attend a church or synagogue on saturday. just rest with no distractions.......no worries. just rest. Shalom.       My sabbath was very nice. How are you? I feel just like you sometimes........ ok all of the time. However, when i the sabbath comes in, it's like a 24 hour vacation. Except i go to church on saturday. Some people think that doing something like what they call keeping the jewish sabbath is a hard task because you have to make preparations like cooking and cleaning because when the sunsets on friday everything in your house shuts down. In other words, you do'nt work on your job, you don't cook , you don't clean. you don't do anything that you would do on a regular days. If you want to know how a weekly jewish sabbath feels like. i dare you to not do anywork or anything just rest.

      So how do you like Cali compared to Michigan? How long did you live in MI? Just curious....I'm looking to move my family out of state in the next couple years..not real sure where or when...The economy here seriously sucks! I'm very grateful for the job security I have as a nurse. I do love the 4 seasons here. I enjoy the winter and snow (my girls especially love the snow), but it seems like it just lasts tooooo long!!
